For iPhone and iPad
The screen limit you can’t cheat.
We generate a passcode you’ll never remember, then switch your iPhone into a stripped-down mode you can’t exit until your fast is over.
free · no card · about 5 minutes
This is not your phone’s passcode. Your normal unlock, Face ID and Apple Account are untouched.
Already started a fast? Sign in.
- Your phone, right now — cluttered with everything that keeps pulling you back.
- We lock a passcode into Assistive Access on your computer, so it never sits on this screen. Only the apps you kept remain, and it doesn’t come back until your fast ends.
Why everything else failed
It wasn’t your willpower.
Every limit you’ve ever set, you could lift — because you set it. That’s not weak discipline. That’s a lock with your own key taped to it.
| The way out | Costs you | |
|---|---|---|
| Deleting the app | Re-download it | 20 seconds |
| A Screen Time limit | Tap “Ignore Limit” | one tap |
| A Screen Time passcode and every blocker built on it | Settings → type the code you chose | 15 seconds |
| Assistive Access, set up yourself | Type the code you chose | 5 seconds |
| Screen Fasting | Erase the phone and set it up again | everything not backed up |
Four exits that cost you seconds. One that costs you the phone. You’ll never use it — your code arrives on its own the moment your fast ends.
The whole process, start to finish
How it works
Five minutes, on a laptop with your iPhone in your other hand.

Pick your allowed apps
Choose 3 or 4 apps you’ll genuinely need — like Maps or Phone. Everything else stays hidden during your fast. We walk you through the exact taps.

The passcode you never see
We create a random code, then guide you through each keypress one at a time — mixed with extra steps. Your fingers type it, but because the full number never appears, it doesn’t stick in your memory.

What’s stopping me
Questions people actually ask
What if there’s an emergency?
You choose which apps stay reachable when you set up your fast — keep Calls and Messages and you’re never cut off. Beyond that, the only way out is a full device erase. We’re not being cruel; we’re being honest — if there were a backdoor, you’d use it at 11 PM when you’re bored. The cost of escape is high by design.
Do I need a second device?
Yes for setup, no afterwards. Setup runs in a browser on something that isn’t the phone being locked — a laptop, a tablet, another phone. After that, getting your passcode back works from anything you’re signed in on.
Can I just turn Assistive Access off?
No. Leaving Assistive Access asks for the passcode, and you don’t have it. That’s the whole product.
Will you know my passcode?
Yes, and that’s deliberate: a code nobody could read could never be handed back to you. It sits on our servers as plain text behind your login, and we’d rather tell you that than dress it up.
It isn’t your device passcode — your normal unlock is untouched — and it does nothing for anyone who isn’t holding your phone.
What if I lose my laptop or clear my browser?
Your passcode is saved on our servers before your phone ever changes, so there is no moment where the phone has changed and nobody has the code. Clear your history, switch computers, lose the laptop entirely — sign in and it’s still there.
Does this work on Android?
No. iPhone and iPad only.
Isn’t this the same as locking my Screen Time passcode?
No. Screen Time keeps every app on your home screen, behind a limit you can lift. Assistive Access removes them. There’s a side-by-side further up the page.
What about a physical blocker, like Brick?
Same instinct, and it’s the right one — put the key somewhere you can’t reach.
Two differences. It only works if you remembered to leave it behind; at 1am, if it’s in the next room, it’s a walk. And Brick ships five in-app Emergency Unbricks that unblock everything without the device, resettable on request.
Our code isn’t in an app on your phone. It isn’t anywhere you can reach, wherever you are.
Start with a length you can sit through.
The lock already exists. You just can’t be the one holding the key.
